At the pre-season meeting of the Turin section of AIA (Italian Referees Association) on September 7, 2024, Dr. Marco Gastaldo addressed more than one hundred young referees and referee observers. As a physiatrist at Isokinetic Turin, he focused on injury prevention for referees and the correct diagnostic and therapeutic pathway to ensure full recovery after an injury.
His talk was part of a day dedicated to physical and theoretical tests, as well as technical presentations. Isokinetic Turin has been collaborating with the Turin AIA section for years, first under the leadership of Andrea Mazzaferro and now under Aurelio Giorgianni.
