Ideal Path for Muscle Injury: The Isokinetic Recovery Program

Muscle injuries are common occurrences, especially in high-intensity sports like football and tennis. Here's how to recover by following the right steps at the right time

SHARE

For those of you who play high-intensity sports like football and tennis, unfortunately muscle injuries are common. Although most of them are not serious, they should not be underestimated. Our group, which has over 40 years’ experience and has treated thousands of patients, always recommends a complete recovery programme.

The Recovery Program, Step by Step:

The program we offer consists of:

A multidisciplinary approach, with the patient at the heart of the team

A consultation with our of our specialists (sports medicine or physiatrist)

Diagnosis backed up by musculoskeletal ultrasound scan to determine the extent of the injury: a more serious structural injury or tear versus non-structural (pulled or strained muscle)

Different rehabilitation settings, from the gym to the sports field

Recovery of flexibility and eccentric strength of the injured muscle

Focus on posture and movement patterns (MAT testing and exercises in the Green Room)

The key role of on-field rehabilitation and GPS monitoring (for a full return to performance)
