We have finally made tickets available for our Conference, which will take place in Athens from April 18 to 20, 2026.
While we wait for this event, here’s a short recap video of our most recent edition, held in Madrid a few months ago. It was a spectacular gathering of experts from around the world, united by passion and knowledge, with a powerful shared mission: to discover and share the latest clinical evidence to help athletes return to performance.
Return to Performance
As a medical community, we often overlook the importance of one of the final – yet perhaps most crucial – aspects of football medicine: performance.
Return to performance is the ultimate goal for every patient after an injury, and the line between rehabilitation and performance is becoming increasingly thin.
The football medicine community is working hard. However, the outcomes remain complex: only 50% of players return to full performance after an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
By integrating physical and sport-specific aspects, we need to clearly define the ultimate goal, optimizing our approach and progressively becoming true “Performance Doctors”.
In Athens, from cutting-edge research to elite practice, we will bring together approaches to find the best solutions for achieving a complete Return to Performance.
