On Monday, September 23, 2024, the Isokinetic Campus in Bologna was bathed in blue during an event that focused on injury prevention, with contributions from industry experts and a special appearance by Bologna F.C. 1909 coach, Vincenzo Italiano.
The event was held in partnership with with the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and centered around injury prevention, from biomechanics to technique. Guest speakers explored topics such as injury prevention through the eyes of an athletic trainer to functional recovery following ACL injuries to the psychological handling of injuries.
We were especially pleased to welcome Vincenzo Montella, coach for the Turkish national team, and Bologna F.C.’s coach, Vincenzo Italiano, who shared his connection with Isokinetic: today as a coach overseeing his players’ health and, in the past, as a patient when he sought treatment at our Bologna clinic during his playing career.
