A series of meetings on sports rehabilitationVerona as a medical and sports reference pointThe first event: focus on meniscal injuries

In the field of sports medicine, the difference is not defined solely by the quality of treatment, but by the ability to foster dialogue and share knowledge. It is from this vision that “Isokinetic Health, Science and Sport” was created, the new cycle of events promoted by Isokinetic Verona.
A series of meetings dedicated to the key topics of sports rehabilitation, designed for professionals, athletes and practitioners, with the aim of establishing Verona as a stable point of reference for medical and scientific insight applied to sport.

A series of meetings on sports rehabilitation

“Isokinetic Health, Science and Sport” was created with a clear purpose: to present sports rehabilitation in all its complexity, without simplification. Rehabilitation is not a secondary phase of injury management, but the core of the return to performance.
For this reason, the series of meetings addresses each topic through an integrated approach, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, functional recovery and return to activity, bringing scientific theory and everyday clinical practice into direct dialogue.
Each session is designed as a moment of genuine and practical insight, aimed at professionals who work daily in the fields of sport and health.

Verona as a medical and sports reference point

With the “Isokinetic Health, Science and Sport” series, Isokinetic Verona strengthens its role within the city’s sports and healthcare ecosystem. Not only as a centre for treatment, but as a place for discussion, education and continuous professional development.
In a region rich in sporting activity, investing in high-level educational and scientific events means contributing to the growth of the entire local medical and sports system. This first event marks the beginning of a structured pathway, designed to evolve over time and become a regular point of reference for Verona’s sports community.

The first event: focus on meniscal injuries

The first appointment of Isokinetic Health, Science and Sport will take place on Tuesday 25 February 2026, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at the Isokinetic Verona, and will be dedicated to a key topic in sports practice:
Meniscal injuries in athletes: from injury to return to activity

Le lesioni meniscali sono tra gli infortuni più frequenti e complessi nello sport. Le decisioni cliniche iniziali incidono in modo diretto sul percorso riabilitativo e sulle prospettive di ritorno all’attività.
During the event, the entire pathway will be examined: from the initial injury and therapeutic decision-making to the development of an effective, safe and sustainable return to sport.

The discussion will be led by professionals with complementary expertise, offering a comprehensive and integrated perspective on the management of meniscal injuries.

Daniele Screpis – Medico specialista in Ortopedia e Traumatologia, con esperienza nella chirurgia del ginocchio e nella gestione clinica delle lesioni meniscali, dall’indicazione terapeutica al recupero funzionale.

Emanuele Brotto – Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine and Medical Director of Isokinetic Verona, with advanced expertise in clinical assessment, musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging and integrated post-injury management of athletes.

Matteo Azzini – Head of Rehabilitation at Isokinetic Verona, specialised in functional rehabilitation, injury prevention and movement analysis, with extensive experience in return-to-sport programmes.

Alessio Guandalini – Local Director of the Isokinetic Verona Centre, with a key role in coordinating clinical and rehabilitation pathways and in developing personalised, high-standard models of patient care.
