Isokinetic and Virtus Bologna have announced the renewal of their three-year medical partnership, starting from the 2026/27 season. Our rehabilitation centre in Bologna will serve as Medical Partner of the Black V for the next three seasons: 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29.
The press conference was attended by Davide Fazzini, Managing Director of Isokinetic Bologna, and Dr. Gianni Nanni, an Isokinetic physician and Sports Medicine specialist, representing Isokinetic. Virtus Bologna was represented by CEO Marco Comellini, Club Medical Director Diego Rizzo, Francesco Ferrari and Davide Casarin.
Davide Fazzini, Managing Director Isokinetic Bologna: “It is a pleasure for all of us to welcome you to the Green Room. Today, we are renewing a close working relationship between Isokinetic and Virtus that has lasted for more than 10 years, involving projects dedicated to both the youth teams and the first team, with a focus on science and research. This three-year renewal of our agreement comes after approximately 15 years of collaboration. We are delighted to be holding this press conference in the Green Room, which we consider something of a temple of exercise-based injury prevention. Here, athletes and individuals can gain a better understanding of how they move and, through this knowledge, learn how to avoid and prevent injuries. These are crucial factors because, for a sports club with so many athletes facing a demanding schedule of matches, injury prevention can make the difference between winning and losing.”
